Jay Scott grew up in Arizona with a passion for the outdoors.  He attended Scottsdale Christian High School and went on to Grand Canyon University and ended up finishing college at Arizona State University with a degree in Justice Studies.

Jay loves the bugle of the bull elk that rings through the woods in September and the challenge of trophy elk hunting. He won the Arizona Wildlife Trophies Award two years in a row for the largest elk taken in the state of Arizona. Jay loves to hunt the mountains of Sonora and Arizona for trophy Coues Deer.  He also can be found in the spring chasing the gobbles of the wild turkey.

When not hunting, there is a good chance he can be found on a gold medal trout stream some where in the Western US or the southern reaches of New Zealand chasing his other passion of fly fishing.
